Merlin Account Manager Alex West won the title, holding off late pressure from several customers, Merlin staff, and their relatives. He said the following: ‘While I’m very happy to win the title and bring it home for Merlin, I do feel a bit guilty for beating our customers so I’ve decided to use my prize to make a donation to St Barnabas House Hospice. St Barnabas took great care of my late colleague Adrian Burdfield, he was a big Liverpool fan and as Salah’s goals helped me to the title, I know Adrian would have enjoyed them as well. Thanks to all customers and staff who competed with me this year.
